Muntacc 2009   Coste della Sesia Rosso D.O.C.
The local Vespolina and Croatina varieties that grow in the vineyard called Muntacc,on the Prevostura hill, are traditionally blended with our noble Nebbiolo. This resulting wine is structured, elegant, and austere.
Production is very limited.

VINE DENSITY: 1800 vines per acre
HARVEST: fully manual in small boxes, on 1st October 2009
WINE-MAKING: fermentation in stainless steel tanks with maceration of 18 days, malolactic fermentation in stainless steel
REFINING: 22 months in barriques and tonneaux. 12 months in bottle
